Primed
Focus SB® Primed is created by the application of an advanced electrophoretic coating to metal wall plates followed by the careful air drying of each bespoke piece on custom-made jigs designed by in-house mechanical engineers and metal finishing experts. This superior white primer coating can be lightly ‘keyed’ and painted on site prior to second fix for a flawless electrical installation giving design consultants and specifiers total control over final finish continuity across decorative paintable power outlets and light switch cover plates. . Push button and toggle switches are finished in Satin Nickel as standard, other options available on request.
Preparation: Lightly key the primed surface with 800-grit sandpaper to help the topcoat adhere.
Paint recommendation: Acrylic-based paint is recommended for a durable finish. Always follow the paint manufacturer's instructions, as some products may require a specific primer or undercoat.
Primed can be specified with Ambassador Classic, Ambassador Square, and True Edge faceplate styles.
