A living finish is designed to mature over time, developing a unique patina through touch, light, and environment. This makes the product become more personal and characterful the longer you own them.

What to expect?

Batch variation
Items ordered at different times are likely to have a colour variance.

Independent ageing
Existing installations will have already begun to develop patina, while newly supplied items will be at an earlier stage of this process.  A difference in tone is to be expected.

Eventual visual harmony
Over time, finishes will mature and settle, reducing contrast and creating a more unified appearance.

The result is a finish that feels lived-in, refined, and entirely individual.

Matching new plates to a 'living finish' previously supplied will not be exact, with no two plates the same.
