Lighting finalist SBID awards 2022

Focus SB is a Lighting finalist in this year’s SBID product design awards for our recently launched collection of stylish control switches.

Appealing to a panel of expert judges, our latest solution for use with inline dimmers or lighting / shading control systems offers designers the advantage of specifying a low voltage control switch option available in component form, with an attractive traditional design aesthetic.

Handcrafted, finished and tested in-house in the UK, our bespoke push button control switches collection ‘Control switches by Focus SB’ features the latest technology enhanced by square and circular switch options and offers the same functionality solutions as our retractive (momentary action) switches. Faceplates and square buttons can be laser marked in-house.

Dedicated to lighting and lighting accessories design, the SBID’s Lighting category includes general, ambient, mood, task and accent lighting and electrical accessories for both residential and contract interiors.

Finalists from across the globe are selected during a 3-tier judging process starting with an expert technical panel of industry specialists before entries are put to an online public vote closing on Wednesday 24th August at 5pm.

Considered one of the most prestigious accolades in interior design, success in SBID’s GOLD-rated awards programme is achieved purely for design, innovation and functionality of the entries. The finalists in each category therefore demonstrate the highest standards of design excellence for interior products within their field, spanning the commercial and residential design sectors.

The winning entry in each category will be announced on Friday 21st October at the SBID International Awards ceremony at Intercontinental London Park Lane, the luxury guest suite interiors of which happen to be one of the key luxury hospitality projects our light switches have been specified for, as featured by Hospitality Interiors!
