Award winning RX Architects enjoy factory tour

On 9th November last year, ahead of our prestigious visit from HRH The Princess Royal to present us with our King’s Awards for Enterprise winner trophy later that month, we were delighted to welcome the team from RX Architects from nearby in Rye who visited our head office and main factory in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.
Experts in designing homes located in challenging coastal and countryside environments such as the eye-catching pink house ‘Seabreeze’ on Camber Sands which was awarded RIBA House of the Year, Regional South East Awards in 2022 and featured in the nominees longlist by the The Times along with other incredible projects, RXA was given an informal product presentation followed by a tour of our in-house metal component manufacturing and finishing facilities.
The experienced local architects were pleased to be able to handle physical product samples, scrutinise the quality of our finishes up close, and explore the flexibility of our bespoke design and finish services for potential future projects, as well as viewing a custom display of our design-first screwless flat plate range *Renaissance with its distinctive square corners. Rob Pollard, Director and Architect (RIBA) thanked hosts Business Development Manager for South London, Kent and Sussex, Gennifer Beckwith, Suzi Baker our PR consultant and General Manager, Chris Turner who gave the RXA team an in-depth tour saying: “Great to see the products!”
Keen advocates for the use of sustainable materials and designers of environmentally responsive buildings, the growing RX Architects team has recently reached the verification stage of its B Corp Certification assessment and hopes to be fully certified soon - we congratulate them on this phenomenal achievement to date!
*Renaissance was unveiled in March prior to launching at Decorex, and has already achieved recognition in the Made in Britain Impact Awards Innovation of the Year shortlist as well as a finalist in the SBID Awards 2023 Lighting and Product of the Year - Residential categories.
