Commercial catering consultant enjoys private factory tour

Our HR Manager Jo Cloute welcomes local commercial catering consultant and interior designer Giorgia Lacey-Colley from Cooper8 for a tailored private factory tour.

Impressed by the quality of our products and fascinated by the complexity of manufacturing processes involved in creating just one bespoke piece, Giorgia enjoyed demonstrations given by our highly skilled mechanical engineers and metal finishers Nick, Adam, Roland and Trevor.

Giorgia viewed several manufacturing processes from the laser marking of finely detailed custom text and iconography through to metal pressing and finishing by hand and commented: “Thank you for inviting me in to see your craftmanship up close. Great to see a quality bit of UK manufacturing going on right around the corner. Design is in the detail - and at Focus SB the detail is quality.”

The tour was followed up by a face-to-face appointment with expert product consultant Gennifer Beckwith to discuss our services in more detail. Our primed finish was of particular interest to Giorgia, as well as our ability to supply power outlets to be integrated into contract furniture such as those specified for a large conference table by architect and designer Arcplus Group Plc for the VIP interiors of the satellite terminal at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
