MD Gary Stevens celebrates 10 years and his new role as Chairman

The whole of Focus SB from across all three factory sites in St Leonards-on-Sea and our external Business Development Managers were pleased to come together from far and wide to congratulate our MD, Gary Stevens who celebrates 10 years with us.

A surprise gathering at our main Napier Road factory saw an unsuspecting Mr Stevens given a rousing welcome by employees and colleagues. The last time there was a gathering of this size was on Wednesday 22nd November 2023, when Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited Focus SB and formally presented Mr Stevens with The King’s Awards for Enterprise engraved crystal winner trophy for our achievement in International Trade.

Following a short speech by our new MD, Ciaran Mitchell and a gift presentation made by Sales Office Manager, Terri Hoey and our Head of HR & Customer Service, Jo Cloute, our Head of Sales & Marketing, Steve Moss paid tribute to Gary on behalf of all of us.

Mr Mitchell commented: ‘Appreciation for Gary Stevens for an amazing 10 years of leadership at Focus SB. Your impact on the business and the people has been immense - and you’ve definitely left big boots to fill. Wishing you all the best for what comes next!’

We all wish Mr Stevens well in his new role as Chairman in 2026 as he hands over the day to day running of the company to Mr Mitchell. We look forward to even more exciting, innovative times ahead, building on Gary's legacy as Ciaran Mitchell formally assumes the role of MD.
