Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Anni Sanders is shortlisted for 'Apprentice of the Year' in the Insider Media Made in the South East Awards!
Revealed at the beginning of November the Insider’s annual awards recognise leading regional manufacturing businesses and celebrate staff achievements.
Anni who successfully completed her apprenticeship last year was thrilled to receive her certificate in March 2022. Trained in goods inward/despatch, stores and assembly, Anni’s role involves taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders, getting goods ready for dispatch, maintaining stock records, health and safety, manual handling and using all forms of documentation throughout these areas.
In December 2022 Anni was recognised in The Manufacturer Top 100 Young Pioneer category as someone ‘who has made an impact disproportionate to their years, providing inspiration for the future of manufacturing in the UK’. She has since gained her forklift licence.
We wish Anni the best of luck at the awards which she looks forward to attending with family and Val Chandler our Assembly Manager.
The presentation ceremony is to be at the Hilton London Gatwick on 30th November where at a black-tie awards evening businesses from across the South East will come together to applaud all entrants and winners.
