Focus SB launches ‘Nature Inspired’ finishes
Focus SB adds to its extensive finish portfolio with the launch of a distinctive series entitled ‘Nature Inspired’. The new finishes comprise six on-trend designs that mimic natural textures and patterns. This unique new decorative collection has been made possible by an industry first collaboration with the liquid metal technology experts at Anka Metal Coatings.
A sneak preview of the striking new finishes which include Aged Brass Tree Bark, Aged Bronze Tree Bark, Antique Nickel Silver, Brompton Black Bronze, Pitted Gold Brass and Verdigris, was revealed earlier this year in March by our managing director Gary Stevens who announced an exclusive partnership with Anka Metal Coatings and Bespoke Furniture Ltd, a niche liquid metal company using top-of-the-range technology to coat products in metal finishes.
Anka works with leading liquid metal technology to create bespoke interior and exterior finishes. Its innovative product allows the company to coat a wide range of surfaces with a solid veneer of metal. Handcrafted finished products can be polished, buffed or brushed just like a solid piece of metal.
Our product design and development team welcomes Anka as the perfect partner to complement Focus SB’s extensive yet ever evolving finish portfolio, with its incredible range of patinas and washes able to cleverly replicate ageing effects and oxidation. Fed by constant customer demand for unique aesthetics and reflecting biophilic design trends, these eye-catching new finishes offer designers the opportunity to push boundaries not yet seen in the world of electrical accessories.
