Ready to swing into the “roaring” Twenties?

Over the last few years, Art Deco design has been gaining momentum, and it is now planting a firm footing in 2021.


We first met Annette Taylor-Anderson, founder and creative director of ATADesigns, during our PR consultant Suzi Baker’s interview with interior designer Elisa Fanella. The two had collaborated on an eye-catching wallpaper and mural design collection entitled ‘The Italian Infusion Collection’, for which they were nominated as finalists in the 2017 Northern Design Awards Designer Maker category.

Since we last featured architect and interior designer David Lee Hood on our blog, he’s been rather busy realising an innovative vision to streamline the essential yet mundane daily tasks faced by the interior design and architecture industry, freeing up more time for creativity.

INDEX Dubai 2016 proved to be one of the most successful events dedicated to commercial interior design, and welcomed over 27,000 visitors according to show organisers. The range of new show features included the INDEX Design Innovation Forum, which provided a platform to share current trends and design challenges, and the event showcased over 1000 interior design product suppliers.

Now in its seventh edition, Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) celebrates the distinctive and creative London quarter. Set across three days, CDW hosts the best in design from around the world and features a huge range of home-grown talent.

New Designers 2016 showcased the exciting work of graduate designers emerging into the creative industry, hosting two prestigious awards presentation evenings in recognition of new talent. With a nod to interior trend predictions for 2017 and 2018, design fused an exploration of recycling and colour, and evoked a growing desire for sustainability and privacy.

This year we exhibited at 100% design in Olympia, as part of London Design Festival 2016. 100% design provides the perfect exhibition space for interior designers, architects and industry professionals; it is the ideal place to source unique designs, inspirations and trend directions for future projects.
