Metal polishing and finishing

"This position is offered under the Work Trial Agreement"

Polishing manually and using a variety of machinery to achieve a high grade of finish on metal components. These components are on view in their final position and need to be of a very high standard of finish so attention to detail is important. The work is physically demanding. You will be working with a small team who work together to achieve results.

Hours of work generally Mon-Thurs 8.30-5.00, Fri 8.30-3.00.

Although some flexible working can usually be accommodated.

General Handyman

We are looking for an agent to cover Scotland. We are ideally looking for an agent who already services the building specification market and who is able to also call on electrical wholesalers, specifiers, designers and architects.

Vacancies for Engineers

Focus SB Engineering Division in Hastings is a long established small machine shop producing high quality precision components. We are now looking to recruit another skilled toolmaker/engineer to join our team. The successful applicant must have a minimum of 5 years experience and knowledge of CNC programming (Heidenhain and Siemens shop mill): be able to work under their own initiative to produce high quality work, and be flexible and adaptable.
